We're Here

Sorry for the silence. Billy and I have arrived safely and are pretty much settled in. I have officially one job at a Day Spa as a receptionist, and another job possibility for a later date. Billy is still searching for a full time job. I hope to get back to working on our blog and Etsy, but moving is taking a lot of time and energy as expected. So soon I hope, we'll be active on here again.
Some highlights-
-Church is great, loving being back.
-Saw one of our favorite bands (Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks) in Hollywood and while we were there got to hang out with the Wright Brothers (watch this hilarious video they've recently been featured in).
-Went to the beach and hung out with Danny Peterson (+ his friends and family)
-hanging out with friends

Need to-
see our family, Billy's uncle and aunt, and practically the rest of my family who live here.
start painting again and cooking/baking of course
apply for school Jan. semester
...consider if I am remembering everything.

So I am thankful that I got hired so quickly, and that has been a blessing getting to make money almost immediately. I was honestly pretty emotional once we got here. We love our friends so much and the ideas of our goals (5 year plan it seems to be, as God leads), but it is super hard leaving family. So I have to keep my eyes on our goals and know that God has led us here with peace in our hearts, and obeying Him is way more important than making up my own way. So there you go, a few inward thoughts.
