Christmas Time!

Christmas Time is here. We've been settling in. Woo! At least I'm excited about it. We're finally tackling the obstacles we needed to, to find our place here and what we'll be doing. This is a picture of us decorating for Christmas with Justin and Lindsey, our housemates. I was happily surprised that all of our decorations matched and are cute together.
We are cooking like crazy still, and I am managing my new blog the Braumeister's Wife, a food blog. Billy has been helping me out with lighting for my photos, and taking some himself too. I've been having fun with it, and even have a new idea for photo-less blog posts. I thought I should try out illustrating the recipe instead and posting that for the image instead of photo step-by-step. There have been a couple of blogs I've seen that do that, with different intentions than I'll have, but I was nevertheless inspired by it.
Our Etsy shop has been doing well too. I just sold a commission for Christmas, which will have to be revealed later on. It was a three month process and was delivered to the recipients last week. Billy just sold a piece to someone in New York, which was the painting "At the Races." We're excited about these transactions, and we're trying to come up with more ideas for sales. I am going to attempt a line of simply drawn illustrations of household items, beginning with kitchen related gadgets and foods.
