The fall semester is over and here are a couple designs I walked away with.. I learned a lot and have a lot of fun doing this design thing. The top design was my poster assignment. The requirements were size, using CMYK, and 300 dpi images that were in psd. Aside from that the instructor wanted the poster design to contain text and to be a poster about something, not just a nice design. The bottom design was my playing cards assignment. This assignment had to follow the traditional format but the layout and image could practically be anything. I chose to do a 60s modern feel, with danish modern chairs that I love (Eames for example). The back of the card was a design I created using Adobe's inDesign program, based on a vintage pattern I liked. Open images for more details.
